Royal Docks, located in the Newham borough in East London, has played a prominent role in the citys trade history. Comprising three docks along the River Thames — Royal Victoria Dock, Royal Albert Dock and Royal King George V Dock ~ it was the world’s largest enclosed docks by the 1920s.
